March is colorectal cancer awareness month! American Indian Cancer Foundation and Exact Sciences have provided information and resources such as screening tools, virtual group support, and much much more. Colon cancer sometimes called colorectal cancer is a disease of the colon or rectum which are parts of the digestive system. Regular screening is recommended, according to the U.S. Preventative Services Task Force, for adult males ages 45 to 75 years old to prevent colorectal cancer and early detection if applicable.
